Click on an image to enlarge

This is a beautiful original non-dug coat size 1830 period artillery corps button. This one has great looking detail. It has the cannon on the front with the eagle perched on top of the barrel. Above that image it has "ARTILLERY" and below the image it is one of the tougher to find ones that does NOT have the "REGT" marking. This one has the original shank present on the back of the button and you can read the backmark of "*FINE* COLOUR". This is a variation of the style listed as figure AY59 in Albert's button book and as AY212 in Tice's book. It is a great looking 1-piece artillery coat button in non-excavated condition.
