This is a neat piece of Civil War money. It is an original 50 cent bank note from the Woodstock in Shenandoah County in Virginia.
In the center of the note it has the "FIFTY CENTS" denomination. Just above that it has the factory scene with the smoke stacks. On the left hand side it has the horse and carriage image. The note is
smaller and measures 7 inches by 2-3 inches in size. It has the printed
issuance date of July 22nd 1861 in the upper right of the note. The
note is in beautiful lightly circulated condition. It is correctly hand signed and numbered.
The note comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
