The eagle has the ribbon coming from her beak that reads the motto in Latin that reads "E PLURIBUS UNUM", which is the national motto that translates as "OF MANY, ONE!" This is the pattern that has the integrally cast wreath around the eagle with the pebble grain style background. On the back of the buckle it has the original medium size keeper hook intact. It even has a section of the original black leather belt attached to the loop. This is an attractive non-excavated eagle sword belt buckle for your collection.
