Here is a beautiful looking note. This is a piece of currency was issued by the Exchange Bank of Virginia in Clarkesville, Virginia and is marked as such along the center of the note. This bank was headquartered in Norfolk, the Exchange Bank of Virginia had branches in Abington, Alexandria, Clarkesville, Lynchburg, Petersburg, Richmond, Salem, and Weston. It has the hand written issue date of April 5th 1862. The note depicts the image of the cotton wagons by the river in the center. It is made with the blank back which is known as it being "Uniface". The note is in beautiful circulated condition all over as you can see. Don't miss your chance to own this interesting note. The note measures 7 inches by 3 inches in size.
