Cool Looking Victorian Oil Lamp With Tin Body by E. Miller & Company
Click on an image to enlarge
Here is a cool looking piece. It is an original antique oil lamp. The burner portion has the maker marking of the E. Miller Company. I found online that the company went into business in 1844 and stayed in business until the 1900's. This one is made with a very large tin body that held the oil. It measures 7 inches across the base and it stands 6-1/2 inches tall without the glass globe. The globe is a modern made reproduction in beautiful shape. This is a wonderful piece that is probably from the 1800's.
