Beautiful Post Civil War Naval Officer's Gold Bullion Epaulet

This is a wonderful officer shoulder epaulet insignia. The epaulets are the high grade style that was made in Paris for a well to do Union navy officer. On the top they have the buttons with the U.S. Navy eagle on them on the end of the epaulet. The buttons have the design with the eagle that has the anchor in front of the eagle's wing. This and the overall design let us know that these would have been made after the Civil War. Probably 1880 or later. They have the gorgeous golden color brass bullion on the edges and the bullion appears to be 100% complete. On the underside it has the "RIGHT" side designation and the Paris production location. This is a great displaying post-Civil War navy officer's epaulet that any collector would appreciate.
