This is a very nice original .36 caliber Civil War era brass and iron bullet mold. This one makes a round ball as well as a conical .36 caliber bullet. You see these listed as being made for the Remington revolvers but these would fit the revolver made by the other firms like Colt, Starr, Whitney and any other .36 caliber percussion revolver. The body of the mold is made of iron. The sprue cutter is made of iron and screw are present and still fully functional. It still opens and closes nicely and would cast a bullet even today. It makes one round ball and one conical bullet, both in .36 caliber. This is a nice original Civil War bullet mold.
