Great Looking Triangle Based .69 Caliber Bullet M&M#264

This is a very nice excavated .69 caliber French triangle base bullet. These are one of the most distinctive patterns of bullets used during the Civil War. They are .69 caliber and found in Confederate campsites throughout the South. This particular bullet was recovered years ago on private property in the Port Hudson, Louisiana area. This pattern is pictured as figure #264 in McKee & Mason's bullet book.
