This one has fine detail on the face with the original gold wash remaining in the recesses. On the back of the button it has the original back and shank intact. It has the 1870's era style backmark of the Waterbury Button Company of Waterbury Connecticut. This is a very nice non-dug original uniform button made after the Civil War.
