This is a nice original excavated Civil War regulation pattern cavalry spur. This is the classic style that was worn by the Civil War cavalrymen. It is made of cast brass and is the pattern with the floral style pattern at the base of the rowel neck. This one has the neck still present and the rowel is still mostly present even after all of those years in the ground. It has a nice looking brown patina all over with a good look. . This is a nice looking spur for your relic room.
