Coat Size New York State Button of the Albany Citizens Corps NY69b
Click on an image to enlarge
This is not an easy little button to find. It is the 21mm coat size version of the uniform button that was worn by the Albany Citizens Corps of Albany New York. It is the version listed as NY69b in Albert's button book and NY244a1 in Tice's button book, both of which we sell. It has the "ACC" in the center of the front with the wreath around the letters. This is the same face that appears on the Alabama Cadet Corps button but the backmark is different. This one is in nice shape with a very slight push to the brass. You can still clearly see the correct Civil War backmark of "SCOVILL MF'G CO*WATERBURY" This is a fine uniform button of the Albany Citizens Corps.
