Here is a cool piece of currency from Confederate Louisiana. This note was issued by the Parish of Concordia in Louisiana. It was issued at Vidalia and has the printed issue date of April 15th 1862. The note is printed on white paper with the pale green and black ink. On the left hand side it has the image of the female leaning on a podium. On the back of the note it has the pale red ink that reads "THREE DOLLARs" in the center. This was added to help prevent counterfeiting of the note. The piece measures. 6-3/4ths inches by 3 inches in overall size. The note comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
