Here is a cool piece of currency from Confederate Louisiana. This note was issued by the Parish of St. Landry in Louisiana. It was issued at Opelousas and has the printed issue date of July 19th 1862. The note is printed on white paper with the black ink. In the center of the note it has the ink that reads "TWO DOLLAR" in the center. The piece measures. 4-7/8ths inches by 2 inches in overall size. The note comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
