Gorgeous Matching Pair of Revolutionary War Era Conversion Pistols

Here is a great looking pair of pistols! This is a matching set of handguns from the 1700's. Each of the guns measures 13 inches in overall size with the barrel making up 5-3/4th of those inches. The barrels are the beautifully crafted ones that have the ridges at the ends that make them look like cannon barrels. They are designed so that they can be unscrewed for cleaning and each of them still unscrews just as they should. They fire a single bullet of .60 caliber from the rifled barrel. When these guns left the factory they would have been flintlocks. They were beautifully converted later on so they would fire using the percussion system. The mechanics still work crisply on all positions. On the right side of the frames they have the "Paris" location and on the other side it has the retailer or maker marking of "Piniet". The guns have the beautiful 1-piece walnut wood grips intact. On the back side of each it has the ornate silver strand inlay of the initials of "DM". The majority of the silver inlay is still present on each one. They also have the original iron grip caps intact. This is a gorgeous matching pair of very high quality Paris made .60 caliber Pistols.
