Here is a good looking note. This is a piece of currency was issued by the County of Roanoke in Salem, Virginia and is marked as such along the top of the note. It has the date December 1st 1862. The note has the black ink that makes it displays well. It is printed on the very thin paper so it is amazing that it has survived all these years. The serial number is in ink as well as the clerk signature. t is made with the blank back which is known as it being "Uniface". The date is hand inscribed in brown ink signature. Don't miss your chance to own this interesting note. The note measures 5-1/4ths inches by 2-1/4ths inches in size. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
