This is a tough to find little gun from the late 1860's. This is the .30 caliber rimfire cartridge version of the revolver made by James Warner of Springfield, Massachusetts. According to Flayderman they only made about 1,000 of these revolvers in the cartridge version. This one has the clear "WARNER'S PATENT 1857" on the side of the cylinder. This one is complete including the loading gate on the back of the cylinder frame. The action works well. The action of the gun still works well on all positions. On the handle of the gun it has the original walnut wood grips intact with a dark tone all over. On the bottom of the grip it has the serial number of 235. This is a good looking gun from the Warner Company.
