Click on an image to enlarge
This is a nice identified CDV image of a Union Civil War soldier. It has an I.D. that states that the image is of Plummer D. Watson. The records show that Watson enlisted on September 8th 1862 in the 15th New Hampshire Infantry and served with them until August 13th 1863. He then re-enlisted in the 1st New Hampshire heavy artillery on September 8th 1864 and served until June 15th 1865. They note that he served as a musician and then was a 1st Lieutenant with the Heavy Artillery. A brief service record on him and a brief history of the regiments will accompany the image at no extra cost. It has the bust view of Plummer in his shell jacket coat with the Lieutenant rank insignia on his shoulders. When you look closely, you notice that his uniform is made of corduroy which makes his appear quite dapper. On the back of the card it has the Concord, New Hampshire photographer marking of Benjamin Carr. It also has his name lightly written in pencil. This is a nice CDV image of an identified Civil War soldier.
