3rd New York Light Artillery CDV Image of Lieutenant Robert S. Balestier

This is a nice identified CDV image of a Union Civil War soldier. It has an I.D. that states that the image is of Robert S. Balestier. The records show that Balestier enlisted on January 13th 1862 as a 2nd Lieutenant in the 3rd New York Light Artillery. He served until February 23rd 1862. A brief service record on him and a brief history of the regiment will accompany the image at no extra cost. It has the full standing view of Balestier in his frock coat with his sword by his side. On the back of the card it has the New York City photographer marking of Semsey & Company. This is a nice CDV image of an identified Civil War soldier.
