Here is a cool looking gun! This is an original single shot pistol from the 1850's. This pistol fires a very large bullet of .68 caliber in size. The barrel is full-length at 5-5/8ths inches in size. What makes this one special is that the octagonal sizes of the barrel are hand inlaid with silver. It proudly reads "FABRICADO POR FELIZ GUISASOLA EN EIBAR AND 1857". It also has inlaid silver designs to accent the lettering. This Spanish made pistol has a very cool look all over as you can see. The gun is in the original percussion configuration with the back action style lockplate. It still catches on both of the positions. The hammer is the style that is designed with the eye near the front. The gun is iron mounted with the original lanyard ring intact at the base of the grip. The stock of the gun is made of a single piece of beautiful wood. It has a couple of ancient repairs to the wood. It is missing the ramrod underneath the barrel. This is a cool silver inlaid pistol that is quite affordable.
