Murfreesboro, Tennessee Bank $1 Bill From 1854 with State Capitol Scene

This is an original $1.00 note from the Exchange Bank of Tennessee in Murfreesboro. This bank was opened in 1852 and they closed down around 1859. This one was issued in 1854 and is so dated on the front. In the center of the note, it has the beautiful image of the Tennessee state capitol building. On the left hand side of the note it has the shield with the eagle on top design. The other side has the image of Felix Grundy. These notes were printed in Philadelphia by the Danforth, Wright Company. It is in attractive well circulated condition that displays well even though it has the damage on the left hand side. The note is correctly hand signed & numbered. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
