Extrememly Scarce .63 Caliber Dimick Made 66th Illinois Sharpshooter Bullet

This pattern of bullet has always been one of my favorite styles and this is one of the toughest to get versions. The 66th Illinois sharpshooters used this pattern. Horace Dimick of St. Louis supplied their rifles. The guns he supplied were of many different calibers so he made matching molds to make the guns appear more uniform. Thanks to these molds we have one of the largest varieties of one bullet styles you can collect. This one is in nice shape and is one of the largest sizes that are tougher to find. It measures about .63 caliber and is .96 inches in length. It has the cavity with the large teat in the center. I used to collect these and I can tell you from experience that these are extremely tough to find. This is one the 2nd or 3rd one I have had in 20 years in the business. This one will be a superb addition to your bullet collection.
