This is one cool looking weapon. This is a great looking carbine by the famous London, England maker, Barnett. It has their vividly clear "BARNETT" marking behind the hammer on the lockplate. In front of the hammer it has the crown stamping as well as the "P.H." letters. The lockplate is in the original flintlock configuration and the action still works crisply. The barrel is full-length at 27-3/4ths inches. It fires a large bullet of approximately .64 in caliber. The barrel has the original small blade front sight intact. At the breech of the barrel you can see the correct London style proof marking stamps. The stock is made of s single piece of beautiful wood with a fine look all over. On the flat of the stock opposite of the lockplate, it has the original saddle ring bar intact with the original ring. The gun is constructed with the brass buttplate, triggerguard, ramrod guides and nose cap. They all have the pleasing golden tone to the brass. In the channel underneath the barrel, it has the original ramrod intact and it is the design with the swivel so it doesn't get lost. This is a beautiful gun from all angles.
