Nice 1822 Dated Cavalry Tactics Manual Printed in Hartford, Connecticut

This is a nice early piece of United States military history! It is an original tactics manual book from 1836. This one was published by Oliver D. Cooke of Hartford, Connecticut and is so marked on the title page. It is entitled "Cavalry Tactics; Comprising the Modern Mode of Discipline and Sword Excercise, for the Cavalry Generally. In Five parts, to Which is Added the Review Excercise."The book has the original hardbound cover intact and the paper label title is missing on the spine. It is 155 pages and you can tell from the wear that this one was actually used. All of the pages appear to be present including the 8 plate images. The overall size of the book measures 4-3/8ths inches by 7 inches. This is a nice and early tactics manual that displays well.
