This is a cool piece! It is an original Civil War era tin coffee pot. This is the large camp size that stands about 9 inches tall and is 6-1/2 inches across the bottom. It is well constructed with the lead solder seams on the joints. The lid still opens and closes and has the small wooden lifting knob on the top. This is the version with the pour spout on the side and it is still nicely intact. It is solid enough to use today. This will make a great addition to any campsite life display.
