12mm Civil War Era Folding Trigger Pinfire with Original Factory Bluing
Click on an image to enlarge
This is a cool looking Civil War era pinfire revolver. This is the large frame version that fires the 12mm pinfire cartridge. It fires six shots and has a full-length 4-1/2 inch barre with the original bead style front sight still nicely intact. This is the style that has the grip with the original pair of checked grips intact and on the bottom of the grip it has the original lanyard ring intact. The pistol is completely unmarked so it could be sold by any retailer without advertising for the actual maker. The double action of the mechanics still work but after you pull the trigger you have to manually push the trigger forward so it can fire again. This is one of the guns that were made without a triggerguard. Instead they have the fold up trigger. The frame, cylinder and barrel breech have the remnants of the original factory bluing remaining. It has the ejector rod as well as the loading door on the right hand side of the frame. This is a great looking Civil War era pinfire gun for any display.
