This is an authentic CDV image Confederate Lieutenant General Braxton Bragg (1817-1876). Bragg was a West Pointer that was assigned a command of the Gulf Coast from Mobile to Pensacola. He served as commander of Johnston's 2nd Corps during the Battle of Shiloh. Then he was called to Richmond by Jefferson Davis to handle things around Richmond. Late in the War he served under General Joe Johnston in North Carolina. This is a Fine view of one of the South's most well known Generals. It shows Bragg in his prewar uniform. There is some spotting but it still displays well. The image comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
