Click on an image to enlarge
This is an original .32 caliber rimfire revolver assembled by the firm of Bacon Manufacturing Company of Norwich, Massachusetts. It has their maker mark across the top of the full-length barrel. Flayderman's guide states that they only made a "quantity limited" and made them in the early 1860's. It has the serial numbers of "196" on the parts. This one is nice and complete with a attractive look. It has the very attractive floral engraving on the sides of the frame. Around the cylinder of the gun it has the majority of the cylinder scene still visible. On the handle of the gun it has the original 2-piece walnut wood grips. There are still traces of the original varnish remaining. The action of the gun works just as it should. This is an attractive looking gun for the price.
