This is a great little gun. This is the 7mm revolver that firs a pinfire metallic cartridge. These cartridges were designed with a pin in the bottom of the cartridge. When the hammer of the revolver strikes the pin it drives the pin against the fulminate inside a percussion cap contained inside of the cartridge base. This detonates the cartridge and fires the bullet. This one has the full-length 3-1/4th inch barrel and it measures 6-1/2 inches in overall size. The gun still retains a fine amount of the original nickel finish. The metal has the ornate engraving that makes it displays beautifully. On the handle of the gun it has the factory checkered bag walnut grips. This gun was designed as a Double action and it is still functional. It was constructed with the folding trigger instead of having a triggerguard. It fires 6-shots of the 7mm pinfire design with the tough to find Eyrarud's patent hinged frame that allows the barrel to be tipped down to remove the cylinder. On the left side of barrel web it is marked "BREVETE E. EYRAUD S.G.D.G.". This is the first one of these guns we have been able to offer in 25 years. It is a great little gun.
