Here is a cool piece of currency from the Civil War. This is an original sutler note for the sum of $1.00 with the amount written in ink on the pre-printed pinkish paper that measures 5-1/4th inches by 2-3/4th inches. It states it was form the Sutler's Office and is hand dated from October 31st 1863. In the lower right hand corner it is signed by Moore for the 82nd Invalid Corps. They were soldiers who were wounded but still wanted to serve. The note has been graded by the PCGS company and they graded the pieces as "Choice About New 55". This is a great piece!
