Here is a very desirable version of CDV image of President Abraham Lincoln. This portrait of Lincoln is the "Cooper Union" pose, referencing the time Lincoln sat for portrait photographer Mathew Brady after giving a speech at Cooper Union Institute in New York. This image is a lithograph done after Mathew Brady's first photograph of Lincoln, on the day of the Cooper Union speech, February 27, 1860. It shows the young, beardless Lincoln while he was still a hopeful candidate for president. These CDV images measure 4 inches by 2-1/2 inches. This is a great looking image that displays well from all angles. ' Item #: A5979 (Sold)
