CDV of Amos Davis of the 39th Massachusetts with his Framed Memorial

Here is a great display piece! This is a pair of items from a soldier in the 39th Massachusetts Infantry. This is a beautiful framed veteran document that was given by the State of Massachusetts in April of 1870. It has the beautiful pre-printed paper with the Union eagle at the top with the flags flanking the eagle. On the left hand side it has the Lincoln image. At the bottom it has the Massachusetts state seal. It has the beautiful ink inscription that states it was given to Amos Francis Davis who served with the 39th Massachusetts Infantry. The records show that he enlisted on August 12th 1862. He served with the 39th until June 2nd 1865. It shows that he was promoted to the rank or corporal on November 23rd 1863. In the lower right hand corner of the frame it has the CDV image of Davis in uniform. He is wearing his enlisted style frock officer's coat. It makes a beautiful display and is accompanied by a brief printout of the 39th and Davis' service. The frame measures 21-3/4th inches by 17-3/4ths inches in overall size. It is ready to hang on your wall.
