This is an original Civil War newspaper. It is a complete issue of the New York Times newspaper. It is dated May 24, 1862. It has several interesting articles including one about the early war Movements of the actions in an around Richmond, Virginia. One article tells of General Stoneman's troops within 14 miles of Richmond. The paper is in very nice condition except for one hole on the cover page as you can see in the images. There are articles about the movement of troops in Missouri as well. One interesting article is that about a "Reported Negro Insurrection in Jamaica." There are also tons of interesting advertisements throughout the paper. This is a nice complete Civil War newspaper.
