Here is a wonderful trio of photos that relate to the 32nd anniversary of the Battle of Shiloh in 1894. Many Civil War veterans returned to the battlefield that year to mark the establishment of the Shiloh National Military Park. The group includes three box camera photographs of an Iowa veteran's visit to the Park, among which is a candid image of General Lew Wallace standing among a group of men in an outdoor space. Also with photographs of a wood frame church erected in 1875 at the site of the original Shiloh United Methodist Church, destroyed in the aftermath of the battle, and a group of three women, a young girl, and a man standing on a wooden plank spanning an open outdoor space, captioned on verso, "Shiloh Creek and Foot-log at the Shiloh (Pittsburg Landing) Tennessee Battlefield, 1894." You get all three of these cool photos for only $195.00.
