This is a beautiful hand carved powder flask made from a horn. This one has a beautiful ancient look to it. It is the small size that would be correct for a pistol. The horn is about 7 inches in overall length. The thin end of the horn has the classic lip that has been trimmed out so a carrying sling could be tied on. The wide end of the horn has the nicely crafted wooden plug. It has the small brass and iron tacks and the 2 screws that would have held the strap at one time. The side of the horn has the age holes as you see and it is priced accordingly. This is a nice displaying piece.
