This is an authentic piece from the 1700's. This one was written by the James River Bank in Virginia. This one was worth the amount of 20 shillings. Yes that's right at that time currency was still figured in English or Spanish values. On the right hand side of the note it has the image of the sailing ship. The note measures 6-1/4th inches by 3-1/4th inches in overall size and is in attractive displaying heavily circulated condition with the paper being repaired. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation. This is a nice authentic early piece of paper from a colony of the fledgling United States.
