Here is a great piece of history of President Abraham Lincoln. This is a very nice stereo view image of the chair that Lincoln was sitting in when he was shot at Ford's Theater. It shows the chair and on the back it tells history of the chair on the reverse. These stereo view images were one of the 1st ways for people to view things in 3 dimensions when they were used with the stereo view holder. The back of the card also has the Taylor & Huntington Studio marking and Hartford, Connecticut location. The card itself measures 7 inches wide and is 4 inches tall. It is a fine and still affordable piece of history from one of the most important men during the Civil War.
