This is a neat looking sword! It is the cavalry style saber from the Spanish American War time frame. It has the full-length 32 inch blade. The blade is in well worn with some spotting from age and is in nice condition all over. At the base of the blade it has the remnants of the maker’s mark of a Toledo Spain arsenal. On the back side of the blade it has the "4980" production number. The iron guard has the heavy curves as you can see. It has the entire original wooden handle intact with a nice untouched look. The sword is accompanied by the original all metal scabbard. This is the scabbard that was designed with the single mount and ring and they are intact. This is a cool looking cavalry saber that displays quite well.
