This one is an original .22 caliber Colt revolver. This is the style referred to by collectors as the "New Line 22” model revolver. These were made from 1873 until 1877 and they made approximately 55,343. This one has the serial number of 25,502 which would have been made in 1876. A handy little gun they fire seven shots. This one has the original wooden grips intact. The action of the gun has spring and still rotates to the positions. The brass frame has a fine look with a nice amount of the original nickel finish. The top of the barrel has the clear Colt mark and the Hartford production location. This is a nice original Colt from the 1800's for the price.
