Here is a nice original Civil War veteran reunion ribbon. This one is from the 1892 reunion of the members of the 2nd New York Infantry. At the top of the ribbon it has the"Seventh Reunion / 2D NEW YORK / VOLUNTEER INFANTRY" with the Union Eagle design in the middle. At the bottom it has the red lettering reads "MILLER'S GROVE, ALBIA, N.Y. / MAY 18, 1892". The 2nd New York fought in Virginia including the battles of Fair Oaks, Malvern Hill, Bull Run, Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville. The ribbon is nice white silk that has aged to a pretty tan color. The ribbon measures 6-3/4th inches by 2-1/2 inches in overall size. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
